1.Tools:

Tools are required when removing the old braided packing and replacing it with a new one, and the nut is pre-tightened with a fastener. In addition, use standard facilities and comply with relevant regulations.

2.Equipment:

Before installation, first familiarize yourself with the following equipment: cutting machine for checking packing ring, checking torque wrench or spanner, cap, inner and outer calipers, lubricant for fasteners, reflector, packing extractor, cutting packing, vernier caliper Wait.

3.Cleaning and inspection:

Slowly loosen the gland nut of the stuffing box, release any residual pressure in the packing assembly, remove all old packing, clean the stuffing box of the shaft/rod; inspect the shaft/rod for corrosion, dents, scratches or Excessive wear; check other parts for burrs, cracks.
