Classification and use of beater sheet

Beater sheet/paper is a high performance medium density material. Provides excellent sealing under moderate flange loads and is recommended as an alternative to synthetic fibers in automotive applications.

The beater sheet/paper can be classified according to the presence of asbestos of asbestos and production process:

According to the presence of asbestos, it can be divided into asbestos beater sheet and non-asbestos sheet; According to the production process, it can be divided into non-vulcanized beater sheet and vulcanized beater sheet (latex sheet).

Asbestos beater sheet is made from synthetic latex, asbestos fiber and filling material. Normal used for automobile, agricultural machinery, motorcycle, engineering machinery etc., suitable for lubricating oil under temperature 200℃ ,usually it will be composited with tinplate to asbestos composite sheet.

Vulcanized Asbestos beater sheet, it is based asbestos beater paper and by vulcanized,it has smooth face and high density,it can be cut into all kinds of gasket directly for engine sump,gearbox seal gasket.

Non-asbestos beater sheet,it is made from synthetic latex, aramid fiber and filling material.It is an ideal substitute of asbestos latex sheet/paper.After combining with tanged tinplate,the non-asbestos composite beater sheet is ideal for various kind of cylinder head gasket and other automotive accessory gaskets. Especially for petrol engine kind.

Vulcanized non-asbestos beater sheet is based non-asbestos beater paper and by vulcanized, it has smooth face and high density,it can be cut into all kinds of gasket directly for engine sump,gearbox seal gasket.

Common colors of beater sheet: black and grey are often produced, but white, green, red copyboards are also available
